Privacy Notice

Your data, plainly explained.

This notice is written for India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). The data fiduciary is Veridian Education Foundation, which runs NFCA.

What we collect

  • Assessment answers — your responses, computed scores and the resulting Scorecard.
  • Contact details you choose to give to unlock the Scorecard or book a call — name, email, phone (WhatsApp) and, optionally, city.
  • Consent record — the time you consented, the version and exact text of the consent shown, and your IP address.
  • Usage data — basic analytics such as assessment starts, completions and button clicks.

Why we collect it

  • To generate and show your Scorecard and email you a copy.
  • To let an expert from an NFCA knowledge partner contact you about your results — only when you have ticked the consent box or requested a call.
  • To improve the assessment and keep certification facts accurate.

Who we share it with

Your details stay with Veridian Education Foundation and, with your consent, go to the NFCA knowledge partner for your area so a working professional can call you back: FinStreet Education (US CMA, ACCA, US CPA, EA and taxation) or FinQuotient EduTech (CFA, FRM, IB Operations and AI in Finance). We record only what you give us — name, email, phone, location — together with your current study or work status and your Scorecard result. We do not sell personal data and we do not pass it to anyone else for marketing.

Transactional emails are sent through a managed email service on our behalf.

Retention

We keep your lead record and Scorecard for as long as needed to counsel you and for up to 24 months after your last interaction, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Anonymous assessment statistics may be kept longer.

Withdrawing consent and deleting data

You may withdraw consent or ask for deletion at any time by writing to admin@veridianeducation.org. We will delete your lead record and anonymise your assessment attempt, and confirm by email.

Your rights under the DPDP Act

  • Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction and erasure.
  • Grievance redressal and the right to nominate.

Children

NFCA is designed for people aged 16 and above. If you are under 18, please take the assessment with a parent or guardian's knowledge.
